Ron Choir was formed in 1975 by the late Nathan Margalit as a choir for parents of students at the Yad LeBanim school in Petach Tikva, Israel. Over the course of many years, Nathan led the choir to numerous musical achievements including a successful tour of European cities.

Since 2006, Anat Dor Margalit (Nathan's niece and musical successor) took on the role of conductor and musical director of the Ron Choir, comprising 35 members. The choir performs a wide repertoire of classical choral works, folk songs in various languages, Israeli and Jewish traditional music arranged for choir, and African American gospel music.

The Ron Choir performs at events of the Israeli Choir Association – Hallel, and regularly takes part in regional and national friendship concerts with other choirs and in formal municipal events. It has also participated in mutual concerts with Israeli and international choirs, in Israel and abroad.

Pianist: Zeela Rosenblat

The choir is sponsored by the City of Petach Tikva’s Cultural Administration.
